One way to add a delivery zone to the Onosys platform is via a KML file. These map files are created via Google Maps (or other map service) and allow total configuration by the user to have the zones match exactly the desired zone(s)
To create a KML:
- Go to https://www.google.com/maps/d/
- Log in, if you are not already logged in.
- Skip steps 2-5 if going directly to this link, and go directly to Step 6
- (NOT NEEDED IF USING LINK IN STEP 1) Conversely, you can go to https://www.google.com/maps
- Log in, if you are not already logged in.
- (NOT NEEDED IF USING LINK IN STEP 1) Click the hamburger button in the top left
- (NOT NEEDED IF USING LINK IN STEP 1) Select “Saved”

- Draw the delivery zone by clicking to generate points for your polygon. Click on the first point again to close the polygon.
- Name your delivery zone and click Save
- Click the kabob button next to the map name in the upper right
- Select “Export to KML/KMZ”
- From the dropdown where “Entire Map” is selected, choose the layer you just created instead.
- Check the box next to “Export to a .KML file” and click the “Download” button.
- Upload the downloaded .kml file in the admin under the Restaurant -> Delivery section. Click here to view step by step instructions for uploading the .kml file.
