Adding a delivery zone via .kml import is quick and easy in the Onosys admin. See the below steps to import and set up your delivery zones.
Steps:
Navigate to the restaurant to add the delivery zone
Click Delivery in the left hand navigation
Select + Create Delivery Zone in the top right side
In the dialogue, open the drop down and select Import KML
Click Save & Continue
Click Add Delivery Zone KML and select your .kml file to import
Click Save & Close
The dialogue will disappear and the zone will be in the Delivery Zone list.
To update settings of the zone:
Click the pencil under Actions to edit the zone
In the dialogue, there are the following settings: Name: The name of the delivery zone Delivery Zone Type: If this is in-house delivery, then "Restaurant" should be used. If Door Dash Drive or other third-party zone, then that zone should be selected Menu Type: Is this for To Go or Catering, or both? Minimum Subtotal: The minimum subtotal required for delivery in this zone. With V9 of the platform, Minimum Subtotal of the order is displayed after guest submits their delivery address If there are multiple zones, the minimum subtotal matches what is set on the delivery zone that the address is located in. Blacklist Zone: Is this an area that should not be applicable to delivery?
The next step is Time Frame. If this zone has a limited time frame, create the available times customers can use this delivery zone here (Note: If available during all store hours, then no time frame has to be implemented)
Delivery Fees - set up your delivery fees for the zone. These can be set up based on thresholds (ordering minimums- so orders greater than $20 orders pay x amount, orders greater to $50 pay y amount, etc.). These can also charge a percentage of their order for the payments. Below is an example where: Orders $0-$20 pay $5 delivery fee Orders $20-$50 pay $2.50 delivery fee Orders > $50 pay 5% delivery fee
