With the release of Version 8, we’ve introduced enhanced flexibility and efficiency to Temporary Overrides. You can now:
- Apply overrides by order channel, menu type, and fulfillment type
- Save each override configuration for future reuse in our new Temporary Overrides table
- Reactivate saved overrides by updating the Revert Date and Time on the saved overrides
Create a New Temporary Override
How the new temporary override process works:
Choose the Override Type
- Options:
Lead TimeorTaking Orders
- Options:
Set the Override Value
- For
Lead Time, select the number of minutes - For
Taking Orders, choose eitherYesorNo
- For
Select Order Channels
- Apply overrides to any combination of:
Online Ordering,Call Center, and/orMarketplaces
- Apply overrides to any combination of:
Choose Menu Types
- Options include:
Catering,To Go, or both
- Options include:
- Choose Fulfillment Types
- Now includes:
Pickup,Delivery,Curbside,Drive-thru, andDine-In - You can select any or all that apply
- Now includes:
- Set Revert Date and Time
- The override will automatically deactivate and revert to regular settings at the specified time
Save and Use Again
Every override you create is automatically added to the new Temporary Override list. The next time you need it, simply:
- Select the saved configuration
- Update the Revert Date and Time
- Save and activate—no need to rebuild from scratch
