Limiting Address Autocomplete to a Specific Country
To enhance accuracy in address recommendations, Onosys now supports restricting delivery address autocomplete suggestions to a specific country. This feature ensures that users only see relevant address results based on the brand's restaurant locations.
How It Works
When enabled, autocomplete suggestions will be filtered to display addresses within the country a brand has locations. If disabled, addresses from multiple countries may appear in search results.
For example, if an address like 123 Main Street exists in both the U.S. and Canada:
- With country restriction enabled: Only results from the country a brand is within will be shown.
- With country restriction disabled: Addresses from all countries may appear in autocomplete suggestions, regardless if the brand has locations in that country.
Below: The results for the 123 Main Street only shows results within the United States, even when adding specifics like Toronto, ON.
By enabling this feature, businesses can reduce confusion and improve accuracy for delivery address search.
