Prices are set at the individual products and option item levels within a menu. There are two ways to change a price in the Onosys admin:
- Bulk
- Open all Products/Option Items you are updating and quickly update the prices in one screen
- Individual
- Updating just one Product/Option Item at a time
Once prices have been updated, the menu will need to be published for changes to apply on the ordering site
Bulk Price Update
- In the Legacy Admin, open the Menus until you find the Menu that you wish to update prices at
- Once the Menu is open, navigate to either Product or Option Item, depending on what you are updating.
- Product - Typically Menu Item Base Price
- Option Item - Typically the Modifiers
- Toppings - Typically only utilized by Pizza Brands
- Entities: (What Menu Items are we updating?)
- Filter the items you are updating by searching for a key word that all the menu items share. After you type the key word in the search bar, hit enter for the search to update.
- Check the boxes next to the menu items that you are updating. Your screen should look like the example below
- Example: Searched Gourmet then clicked Enter
- Checked all Gourmet Pizza's to move them over to the right hand side since I want to update these menu item's prices
- Example: Searched Gourmet then clicked Enter
- Properties: "What are we updating?"
- Check the following boxes to update prices
- Active : This will easily show which items are active, and which are not
- DefaultPrice : This will be the price field
- Check the following boxes to update prices
- Click Submit - The screen will refresh to show your selected choices
- Update the price by updating the DefaultPrice field
- Pro-Tip: Viewing the Active column is not always necessary, but it can be good to see what items within the category are active. You may only want to update the price of active menu items.
- Once the Prices are updated, click Continue
- The Menu will need to be published for the changes to appear, follow insturctions within this article: How To Publish a Menu
Note - If you are updating a Topping or Option Item, follow the same instructions above, but initially navigate to the Option Item or Topping sections instead of Product.
Individual Menu Item Price Update

- Click Submit - The screen will refresh to show your selected choices
- Select the Individual Menu Item that you are updating by clicking on the Name of the item in the first category, a new tab will appear
- Open Up Product Info
- Scroll past Properties and navigate to the Default Price Box. Update the price as needed
- After the price has been updated, scroll to the bottom and click Submit. This will save all changes made within this page
- The Menu will need to be published for the changes to appear, follow insturctions within this article: How To Publish a Menu
